We sold our home of 20+years earlier this year, above our asking price, and moved into our beautiful cottage home at Azalea Estates, freeing us from all the responsibilities of home ownership. We freed up cash, traded in property taxes and constant maintenance expenses and time consuming chores for the many benefits we’ve discovered living here at Azalea. We exercise more than ever. We love to walk with our dog through the grounds and enjoy the large wellness center. My wife swims almost daily and I have my favorite exercise classes. She is fond of her weekly art classes, plus her bridge and mahjong games and I love our regular men’s group. We’ve rediscovered the benefits of socializing with our neighbors and friends here in so many ways. We feel like we have rediscovered life. Frankly, we wished we’d done it sooner!
